The Facebook information provided is limited to your email address and only that which you have previously agreed with Facebook that they can share.

Where the information is stored
Black Kilt Tours Mail is handled by Google G Suite and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. These services are fully compliant with GDPR,  “the parties acknowledge and agree that Non-European Data Protection Legislation may also apply to the processing of Customer Personal Data” and that “Google will not process Customer Personal Data for Advertising purposes or serve Advertising in the Services”.

Sometimes, we may ask you to provide other contact details, such as phone number or address, Personal data will only be collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and not further processed in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes.

To book accommodation in your name, any special dietary or accessibility requirements.
To book ferries: Passenger information - name, gender and date of birth is required by law for ferry crossings over 20 miles.
For payments and refunds: PayPal details, credit card details via PayPal Here or Bank Account details if using BACS transfer.
For Entrance to attractions; advance ticket purchase:  age and student status, whether concessions or discounts are applicable.

If your are researching your Ancestry, send a Gedcom file or send information on your family:  we also collect that information, which may include personal information about you and other people (for example, names and birthdays of people in your family). You should ensure if you provide personal information about people in your family who are living and not deceased, that you have the consent from the relevant individual to include that personal information on the website.
How long we hold your data for
Some of the information you provide will be necessary to carry out repeated tasks, such as verifying your identity or payment details, Booking third party services providing services required for your trip. Black Kilt Tours will keep this information only as long as reasonably necessary to complete your tour(s). After this time, Black Kilt Tours may need to hold your personal data in order to meet financial obligations or identify or resolve issues or causes of action.


If your enquiry is inactive for more than 90 days or you decide not to use Black Kilt Tours' services,  information you have provided, including name, email address, correspondence and all information regarding your family tree will be deleted

Photographs and Testimonials
No photographs featuring you will be used on the website or any publicity material without your express consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time and all photographs or any testimonial, that can identify you, will be deleted.

Advertising
Black Kilt Tours does not hold customer information on mailing lists and your e-mail will not be used to promote or advertise any products or services.  Black Kilt Tours will not provide your data to other third parties for marketing purposes.
